Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: May 20, 2026

Why This Policy Exists

Disposable email services are frequently misused for spam, phishing, fraud, and bypassing account controls on other platforms. This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") defines what you may and may not do with Holmnium. It protects other users, third-party platforms, and the integrity of the Service, and limits Zerminum's legal exposure when bad actors misuse our infrastructure.

Using Holmnium constitutes your agreement to this AUP. Violations may result in immediate account termination without refund and may be reported to relevant authorities.

1. Permitted Uses

You may use Holmnium for:

  • Receiving email without disclosing your primary address to third-party services
  • Testing email deliverability or formatting during software development
  • Signing up for newsletters, services, or one-time downloads where you do not wish to receive ongoing correspondence
  • Protecting your privacy when registering for accounts on platforms where you have a legitimate reason to maintain anonymity
  • Security research and penetration testing of systems you own or have written authorization to test
  • Any other lawful activity consistent with these Terms

2. Prohibited Uses

2.1 Spam & Unsolicited Communications

  • Using Holmnium inboxes as the reply-to or sender domain for spam campaigns
  • Registering inboxes in bulk to facilitate outbound spam operations or affiliate fraud
  • Using Holmnium to harvest email addresses or conduct email enumeration attacks against other platforms

2.3 Bypassing Verification Controls

  • Circumventing email-based age verification on platforms where such verification is required by law (e.g., adult content sites, gambling platforms)
  • Bypassing Know Your Customer (KYC) or Anti-Money Laundering (AML) verification on financial services, crypto exchanges, or other regulated platforms
  • Creating multiple accounts on third-party platforms to abuse free trials, referral bonuses, or promotional offers at scale where doing so violates those platforms' terms
  • Bypassing banned-account restrictions on third-party services

2.4 Malicious Content & Malware

  • Using Holmnium as a command-and-control (C2) channel for malware
  • Receiving or distributing ransomware, viruses, trojans, or other malicious payloads
  • Coordinating distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks via email

2.5 Illegal Content

  • Receiving, distributing, or facilitating any content that is illegal in the United States or in your jurisdiction. Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) is reported without exception to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and relevant law enforcement.
  • Facilitating human trafficking, drug trafficking, or weapons trafficking
  • Any use that violates applicable local, national, or international law or regulation

2.6 Service Integrity

  • Probing, scanning, or testing the vulnerability of Holmnium's infrastructure without written authorization
  • Attempting to access, enumerate, or read other users' inboxes
  • Using automated scripts or bots to create inboxes in bulk without a signed API agreement
  • Reselling or sublicensing access to the Service without prior written agreement
  • Interfering with the Service's availability, performance, or security

3. Enforcement

Holmnium reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine whether conduct constitutes a violation of this AUP. Enforcement actions may include, without limitation:

  • Immediate suspension or permanent termination of your account without prior notice or refund
  • Blocking IP addresses, email domains, or inboxes associated with abusive activity
  • Disclosure of information to law enforcement, regulatory authorities, or affected parties where required by law or where we believe disclosure is necessary to prevent harm
  • Full cooperation with lawful requests from government authorities

4. Reporting Abuse

If you believe Holmnium is being used to facilitate spam, phishing, or illegal activity, please report it:

abuse@holmnium.cc

Include the inbox address involved, the nature of the abuse, and any relevant email headers or content. We investigate all credible reports.

5. No Liability for Misuse

Holmnium is an inbound-only email relay — we do not send email on behalf of users. Zerminum is not liable for how the Service is used by third parties. Our liability is limited as described in our Terms of Service. This AUP does not create any duty on our part to monitor inboxes or police user behavior beyond what is required by law.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may revise this AUP at any time. Changes take effect when posted. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the revised AUP.
